Guidelines for literary and artistic contribution to মাতৃকা (Matrika):

English articles, short stories and poems:

Format: Microsoft Word compatible document
Typed, Double-spaced
Max number of words (for articles and short stories): 450
Max number of lines (for poems): 25 (including line breaks)

Bengali articles, short stories:

Font: Adarshalipi (if Adarshalipi is not used please mention name of font used).
Format: Microsoft Word compatible document (if Adarshalipi font is not used, please send a pdf version as well)
Typed, Double-spaced
Max number of words (for articles and short stories): 450
Max number of lines (for poems): 25 (including line breaks)
Hand-written manuscript will be accepted if a clean and legible scanned copy is sent
Please send as an email attachment to Soma Mukhopadhyay at soma.mukhopadhyay.08@gmail.com
For Artwork:
Original artwork submissions will be accepted.
They should be scanned in black and white or color, checked for quality of reproducibility

Generally

Only one submission per person will be considered for review
Please write your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address on the e-mail
For young contributors please mention age and grade
